Dear Ninjas,

It is with heavy hearts that we have decided the UNAA CA Asia Pacific Championships will be our last event.

This year both Gil and Sheri have transitioned to working full time and Sabrina now owns and operates a second business in addition to working full time at her primary business. Since our league isn't necessary as part of the pathway to UNAA Worlds anymore and we really don't have enough time to put into the league due to our jobs, we feel that dissolving the league is the best way forward.

This does not mean there won't be any UNAA competitions in Australia. As you know, last year UNAA USA added world qualifiers in each state which are run directly through UNAA USA. These competitions will continue, there just won't be an Australian National or Asia Pacific championship event anymore.

We are striving to make the 2025 UNAA Asia Pacific Championship our best event yet and we hope to see you there.

If you didn't qualify via WNAG in March or at the WA International Grand Prix (check the qualified spreadsheets here), you can qualify via the following events:

24 August - Fighting Lyons, VIC

31 August - Mr. Ninja HQ, QLD

20 September - Basecamp, SA

The top 5 in each division will qualify to the UNAA CA Asia Pacific Championship (and the top 3 will also qualify to worlds). If you do not qualify, you can still compete in the Championship in Open Class but not in an age/skill division (i.e. 13U).

Thanks,

Sheri, Sabrina & Gil
